Dr. Katherine Yulo joined the Shelby Pediatric Associates team in 2021 and has been in practice for about 15 years. She completed a degree in Physical Therapy at the University of the Philippines and received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Santo Tomas. In 2010, she completed her residency at Texas A&M Driscoll Children’s Hospital and gained additional experience as a resident in pediatric pulmonology at the University of Chicago.
Dr. Yulo enjoys her job immensely and finds that her personal experience as a mother of two children is a valuable supplement to her medical training. She works hard to keep abreast of the latest developments in pediatrics and patiently guides parents through the challenges of parenting in the 21st century.
In her spare time, Dr. Yulo enjoys spending time with her family, skiing and leading her daughter’s girl scout troop.
