WHY SHOULD I GET MY CHILD AN ASSESSMENT?
A cognitive evaluation involves examining thinking, behavior, and social-emotional functioning. The evaluation uses standardized tests and procedures. Examiners work directly with your child. She also talks to you and your doctor. Tests may be performed using paper and pencil or on the computer. Your child will be asked many questions and to solve different types of problems.. Our psychologist will also review your child’s medical and school records to help understand how the test results relate to daily life.
Paulina Multhaupt is our Psychologist who will be doing the cognitive testing. She is passionate about providing an accurate picture of your child's strengths and challenges.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Michigan State University, and her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.
She is available for assessments by appointment. Just call the office to schedule your child's assessment.
